Summer
Time to kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful lakes, streams and ponds of central Maine. The Belgrade Lakes region has some of the best boating and fishing opportunities in the country. Explore on your own or visit one of the local boat rental and guide services in the area. We are also home to a top-five rated golf course (Belgrade Lakes Golf Club) along with over 10 other courses within a 25 minute drive.

Fall
Some say it is the best time of the year. Warm days, cool nights and the absolutely spectacular fall foliage make this a special time of the year. The Kennebec Highlands hiking trails are a hidden gem that offer miles of well-maintained trails throughout the region. Fall is also the time for traditional Maine fairs.

Winter
Sugarloaf, Saddleback and Sunday River Ski resorts are1 hour away and local ski areas are within 20 minutes offering great choices for the novice to expert skiers. Access to Maine’s 12,000+ miles of well-maintained and groomed snowmobile trails are right at your doorstep. Enjoy a truly Maine tradition by trying your luck at ice-fishing

Spring
Black flies and “mud season” are overrated! Spring is the best time for early season fishing for trophy bass, trout and pike. Most of the area golf courses are open by early May offering discounted green fees making this a great time to get your swing back in shape.
